Our design philosophy is centered upon balance - creative innovation integrated with common sense and technical excellence. One does not succeed without the other. We implement that philosophy through sound management, controlled innovation and an awareness of the absolute importance of budget.
Perhaps the most important aspect of our approach to the design and documentation of projects is our firm belief that architecture is a 'collaborative' endeavor. To this end, we will maintain open, effective lines of communication between our team of professionals and an owner's representatives. We provide creative and thoughtful design responses while remaining open to the input of all participants in the process. We are good listeners, good communicators and good problem solvers.

Salter Pilon is very aware of the importance of operating and life cycle costing. Although capital dollars are spent once, operating dollars are spent year after year. Our integrated design approach allows us to work closely with our clients, and provide useful information regarding capital costs and operating costs that will allow for informed decisions on materials and systems.
