James joined Salter Pilon Architecture as a student in 2013 before taking on a more permanent role as an Intern Architect in 2014.
A graduate of The University of Western Ontario and The University of British Columbia School of Architecture, James is excited to engage in the complex and fascinating discourse surrounding the rich multi-disciplinary fields of contemporary architecture and design. A creative problem-solver, James sees the practice of architecture as an opportunity to incorporate diverse client needs and desires with spatial and material concepts – facilitating improvements of the built environment and leading to greater productivity, well-being and beauty in our communities.
Architecture is a vast and constantly evolving practice with issues ranging from the fundamental qualities of light, space and landscapes to the interconnectivity and technology of the current age. James is inspired by the possibilities of the discipline and looks forward to contributing his talents while learning and evolving as a member of the Salter Pilon team.
