Julie Lang is a senior Interior Designer with over 30 years of experience with architectural firms in Ontario. She graduated from Ryerson University in 1988 with a Bachelors of Applied Arts in Interior Design and is a LEED accredited professional (Interior Design + Construction specialty) with a diverse range of project experience including healthcare, education, civic, corporate and community projects.
The desire to create, organize, problem solve and shape spaces, makes Julie a responsive designer and valued team member. At the heart of her design approach is the belief that, whether people are conscious of it or not, we are all deeply affected by the environments around us. Well-designed spaces enhance several aspects of our ability to thrive in the environments we inhabit. Well-being, productivity, mobility and mental health can be greatly enhanced through well-designed interiors.
Julie joined Salter Pilon in 2007 and was a key member of the design team for the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Phase One Redevelopment. She has also been involved in a number of other notable projects including the Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre, Barrie Fire and Emergency Services Station No.1 and the Richcraft Recreation Complex.
