FTP Access

Salter Pilon operates out of Barrie, and leverages technology to communicate and work with clients, consultants and colleagues across Canada.  Its predecessor firm was one of the first architectural practices in Canada to adopt CAD technology in 1983 and was recognized internationally as a leader in the application of computer technology to the practice of architecture.  In 2002, our firm was presented with the Ontario Association of Architects Innovative Practice of the Year Award.  That role of leadership is maintained to this day.  In the fast paced world within which projects are delivered today, there is an inherent need for instant access to information.  In a collaborative effort such as architecture, the ability to instantly access and exchange information is crucial.  We practice this daily within our office and with all of our consultants.  We use proven technology to facilitate and closely integrate the total design and construction process.  A dedicated FTP server is a means that allows the dynamic exchange and distribution of information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  All members of the project team - owners, user group members, architects, engineers, specialty consultants and others, have secure access to the very latest project information.  All relevant project data is readily available, and always current.  Owners can see progress of drawings, minutes of meetings, budgets, schedules, contract documents and model images which are all distributed for comment.  It is a unique state of the art way to link the total team.

The Salter Pilon FTP server is available for client and consultant use only.  All users will require a User ID and password to access this site.  Please contact our systems administrator John Ferguson at jferguson@salterpilon.com to obtain access rights.
