The original 512-pupil school came to fruition after a year-long struggle with an OMB hearing. The 70,800 square foot project included offsite stormwater servicing of over 900 linear metres of storm sewer. It also included site design, which accommodated concerns of neighbours regarding existing hardwood trees on the site. The second phase required reworking of several areas to accommodate 200 additional students. The design for the Conseil Scolaire du District Catholique Centre-Sud, includes teaching areas for theatre arts, a production studio, multi-media room, music, manufacturing tech, a fitness centre, a chapel, science labs and a library resource centre.
