This project is a 33,500 square foot, three-storey office building designed to sit on a prominent three-acre corner lot adjacent to a railway line on Lakeshore Drive in Barrie. Stormwater runoff was controlled by a series of leeching beds and special planting areas. The top floor is occupied by an accounting firm, BDO Dunwoody, and the first two floors have been leased to tenants ranging from dental and medical offices to consulting engineering offices. This office building was constructed with an exterior facing of precast concrete panels and curtainwall. Our role on this project was to construct the base building and, subsequently the fit-out of the 9,300 square foot BDO Dunwoody chartered accountant offices.
