As a talented and extremely proactive contract administrator, you should exhibit exemplary technical ability with a thorough understanding of modern architectural design practices including drafting technology and construction methods, along with excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to take initiative, and to prioritize daily tasks to meet tight deadlines. You will be pivotal in delivering design excellence with high quality and technical skill for diverse outcomes.

Requirements for the Role
- Construction Experience in Ontario
- Architectural or Engineering Degree, OAAAS, or College Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management/Administration or another field related discipline
- Proven ability to manage the process and review of Contract Documents for consistency and completeness, prior to project milestones
- Experience with reviews of project budgets, construction cost and proposed change costs
- Ability to maintain accuracy and quality for control processes
- Solid understanding of building systems, construction procedures, OBC with a focus on Part 3 buildings, city by-laws and/or regulations
- Capable experience of issuing information, site instructions, change orders, monthly progress payment certificates, and process contract close-outs
- Experience in coordination of all on-site activities with participation in trade, staff and client meetings
- Able to review, coordinate and produce contract administration documents including but not limited to shop drawings, site instructions, proposed changes and change orders

About You
- Organized and energic, with epic time management skills
- Attention to detail diligence, to ensure compliance to contract documents and codes
- Possess a valid class G drivers’ licence with access to a personal vehicle
- Proficient skills in latest versions of Revit, Auto CAD and Microsoft Office Packages
- Experience with different project delivery methods and CCDC contracts including Stipulated Sum, Construction Management and Design Build
- Highly motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative, and for milestone completion
- Exhibit a proactive, understanding and flexible approach to dealing with issues
- Have a friendly professional manner with confidence to work and negotiate with all people and levels
