Originally designed as a 45,200 sq. ft.recreation complex, the facility expanded to 71,200 sq. ft. with the additionof a full Brampton Public Library branch. The result will be a multi-use centrethat supports daily activity for families, youth, and seniors alike. Shared amenities and a central lobby promotenatural overlap between recreation and learning, encouraging visitors to engagein both active and quiet pursuits in one accessible setting.
Set within a challenging, narrow site, thedesign prioritizes intuitive circulation, pedestrian safety, and meaningfuloutdoor spaces. Landscaped pathways, gardens, and seating areas extend thefacility’s reach into the neighbourhood, making the site a public realm in itsown right.
