Marc’s diligence to the craftsmanship of construction design excellence and sensibility has been rewarded with his role as an Associate and Project Leader for the Firm.
Dedicated and well versed in technical design and construction detailing, Marc’s experience exemplifies design quality in construction delivery. This passionate endeavor along with his critical calming demeanor, has benefited him and his projects with contract administration experience in contractor negotiations, progress and field reviews, problem solving and construction project management. Adding this expertise to his design repertoire is refining design value and constructability considerations that resolve complex construction requirements and nurtures clients with detailed, level-headed decision-making capabilities to achieve their objectives and project budgets. Deeply invested in the renewable qualities of mass timber, its potential for innovative construction methodology and emerging low emission products, he is inspired by the possibilities and looks forward to supporting clients in their implementation of methods that encourage environmental wellness, positive user experiences and dedication to sustainable human-made conditions.
A bilingual communicator fluent in French, Marc has led Francophone projects in Eastern Ontario for the Firm after expanding this advantage during his studies in Sudbury where he earned a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architectural Studies (Hons.) from Laurentian University. He is a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and Ontario Association of Architects. Marc is an advocate for professional development for our design team. Aside from mentoring team members in a holistic solution driven design approach, he fosters continuous learning and engagement through the coordination of group training from vendors providing knowledge of emerging trends, products and technologies that can enhance the longevity and cost effectiveness of the built environment. As a passionate and detail orientated architect with influential contributions to some of the Firm’s recent complex projects, Marc’s leadership attributes are a testament to the qualities exerts he in the architectural design field.
