A new entertainment heartbeat for Belleville began with an idea: craft a welcoming, modern casino that feels effortless from the first step inside. Shorelines Casino Belleville set the design tone for the brand, pairing an upbeat guest journey with warm, durable finishes and hospitality that pulls you in—and brings you back.

Salter Pilon Architecture (SPA) served as the local interior design delivery partner—producing concise ID contract documents, coordinating with architectural, electrical, and mechanical teams, and providing boots-on-the-ground contract administration through an accelerated build.

Working alongside BC based Chris Dikeakos Architects and Inside Design Studio (interiors concept), SPA translated national design vision into a fully realized Eastern Ontario destination. Custom lighting, coordinated detailing, and clear wayfinding knit the gaming floor, F&B, and guest services into a cohesive experience.

The result anchors a full program—gaming, dining, entertainment lounge, and a PlaySmart Centre—delivered under a construction-management model and opened in January 2017. The project established Shorelines’ prototype language and a trusted, repeatable delivery approach between SPA, the contractors, and the client’s development team—building a collaborative platform for subsequent sites.

Belleville’s success wasn’t just a milestone opening; it became a reliable blueprint. The strong working relationships forged during permitting, change management, and authority liaison set the stage for a consistent brand experience across future Shorelines properties.
