Momentum from Shorelines Casino Belleville carried forward, then evolved. At Shorelines Casino Peterborough, SPA refined and re-organized the interior to accommodate major program shifts, preserving the brand’s warmth while sharpening operational clarity and guest flow.

As the local interior design delivery partner, SPA prepared ID contract documents, coordinated across disciplines, and led an expanded contract-administration effort through compressed timelines. The work introduced signature elements—a custom gaming-floor ceiling with integrated lighting, a back-lit bar wall, and a digital mural—that heightened identity and orientation without sacrificing durability or surveillance sightlines.
Built under a construction-management framework, Peterborough cemented a repeatable process: responsive design adjustments aligned to constructability, budget, and material availability, all while protecting the guest experience. The project reinforced Shorelines’ brand—full-service gaming, casual dining, guest services, and PlaySmart—within a compact plan that feels intuitive and welcoming from the entry to the last table.

If Belleville launched the language, Peterborough proved its range—advancing the prototype with bolder feature moments and tighter integration across systems and trades.
For SPA and Great Canadian Entertainment, it’s a case study in how a collaborative team can evolve a brand across sites while keeping the experience unmistakably Shorelines.
